Got this for a friend who had a daughter recently. Perfect gift so mom can get out and about when it warms up and baby can look lovely while protected against the sun. So great that I was able to get a forward thinking gift.
So, the clothes and all for new bebes are darling...and of course, who doesn't want to supply a child's first home library with all those great books? BUT for a gift that's sweet and sure to stand out, the sun hat is one of my faves. For one thing, it's something that doesn't seem to already be on the top of most gift giver's minds, so you likely won't be giving a duplicate (unless they all read this and order...Hmmm), and when you choose a character and add the kiddo's name, it's guaranteed to be unique and perfectly perfect! I like the wide brim and very lightweight fabric on these: makes it more likely the child will forget it's up there. And so, leave it up there.
Sean wore the green one to his first ever St. Patrick's Day Parade. Both his name and the shamrock on it made sure folks knew he was a proud Irishman! The hat did a great job of making sure he was safe from the sun, and it was comfortable enough that he didn't take it off. Bonus!
